Abrakadoodle

Abrakadoodle was established in 2002 by noted educator and award-winning franchise developer Mary Rogers, M.Ed. and Rosemarie Hartnett. Soon after, acclaimed fine artist Lori Schue, author of the popular book series Artworks for Kids, joined the management team. Their goal was to expand art choices, making programs more comprehensive by engaging students in a broad landscape of activities such as painting, collage, sculpture, mosaics, digital design and more. Their research shows that the benefits of early arts education extend way beyond providing a creative outlet for children and skills developed through arts education can include creative problem solving, focus, risk taking, and self-discipline. The arts help children develop such literacy skills as reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

In May 2003, Abrakadoodle began putting together the elements of a professionally run franchise operation. In February 2004, Abrakadoodle launched its franchise operation in Reston, Virginia and has grown across the country offering programs in more than 25 states.
Abrakadoodle has an experienced and successful management team. This team brings expertise in many areas like education, franchising, art, public relations, business development, sales, marketing, training, building partnerships and more.
