Comet Cleaners
A franchisee is a powerful and effective process that includes the marketing, sale and distribution of products as well as services. Experience of the franchisor and the goodwill of the brand are the vital attributes of a successful franchisee. The franchisor licenses the trademarks and techniques of doing business and performs the distribution of products or services through his associated dealers.
In 1923, at the age of 12 Jack Godfrey left the family farm and worked for a tailor shop. Four years later Jack opened his first tailor shop. At the age of 18, Jack opened his first dry cleaning plant in Dallas. In the 1930s, Jack opened the first 30 Minutes Drycleaners. Over the last century, dry-cleaning methods steadily changed resulting in cleaner, well-preserved garments for its clients, due to the ground breaking efforts of Jack Godfrey and Sons Inc. From the 1920's, Comet Cleaners' equipment effectiveness and dependability have enhanced. In addition, the repeated testing of cleaning solvents over the years has produced safer, effective methods of dry cleaning.
They have over 80 years of flourishing dry cleaning proficiency to assist one in the operation of their Comet Cleaners location.
