Creative Colors Int'l.
A franchisee is a powerful and effective process that includes the marketing, sale and distribution of products as well as services. Experience of the franchisor and the goodwill of the brand are the vital attributes for a successful franchise. The franchisor licenses the trademarks and techniques of doing business and performs the distribution of products or services through his associated dealers, namely franchisee. In 1980, Jim and JoAnn Foster bought the license to use a new technique for dyeing vinyl and leather in their area and began J&J’s Creative Colors. The Fosters began researching, practicing and refining various techniques for repairing vinyl, leather and plastic, incorporating them to strengthen their business. J&J has worked with automobile, boat and recreational vehicle dealers, making repairs at the dealers’ lots before they are sold. The company began franchising in 1990 under the name Creative Colors International. Now franchisees across the country use the Fosters’ techniques, providing immediate income and unlimited potential for growth. Creative Colors International offers their Furniture and Commercial section that highlights the different types of leather furniture they perform work on. They also use an exclusive line of products that are specially formulated for these specific leathers and specific problems affecting leather goods. Creative Colors International is recognized as a leader in the repair, reconditioning and color restoration of leather, vinyl, fabric, plastics and carpeting in the automotive, furniture, commercial, and residential markets. The costs and fees schedule available for their service include total investment of 37,500 to 71,400 US dollars, franchise fee of 19,500 plus US dollars, ongoing royalty fee of 6 percent, terms of agreement for 10 years, renewable and renewal fee up to 20 percent of current fee.
