As a Silver cross franchisee, you will work primarily within two product groups, elevating devices and mobility products. Their focus is the larger items such as stair lifts, porch lifts, home elevators, scooter lifts, incline lifts and van lifts. Mobility products include scooters, power wheelchairs and walkers. They are in a position of dominating the web for their products, brand recognition across the USA, Canada and the UK, buying power of 100 companies representing 25 percent market share of home lifts and a completely automated marketing system on the web that is about to be extended to their franchise locations. Their franchise locations have about 40 to 50% market share on home accessibility products. Our unique selling proposition is to offer the end user a lower cost alternative to home accessibility and mobility products. Over the past ten years, we have researched the best methods to find the clients needing our products. Every franchise location develops a 52 week marketing plan with two weekly tasks. Silver cross assists the franchisee in the implementation of their plan. Their costs and fees are a total investment varying from 99,000 to 150,000 US dollars, a franchise fee of 25,000 US dollars, an ongoing royalty fee of 5 percent, a term of agreement of 5 years, which is renewable and a Renewal fee of 5,000 US dollars.
