Crafty Kids Pty Ltd is a MLM or a multi-level marketing based operating business structure which unites direct marketing with franchising where individuals as an independent contractor associate directly with a parent company. These individuals are reimbursed based on their sales of products or service, as well as the sales achieved by the people they bring into the business.

Crafty Kids was incorporated in February 1995 and is now managed by Karen and Peter Stock. Crafty Kids was operated out of Karen and Peter's home garage until August 1997 when the company moved to its current warehouse and office at Albert Park in South Australia.

The Crafty Kids concept was first developed in November 1993 by two mums who grew tired of having to visit many different shops to purchase craft materials for their young children. They collected a broad range of basic craft materials and developed some unique kits containing instructions and everything needed to make some fun creations. The range was first offered for sale at a stall in a craft fair in January 1994 in a little South Australian country town called Yankalilla.

The stall was by far the most popular at the fair, providing all the encouragement needed to develop the range further. Selling through retail outlets was investigated, but it soon became apparent Crafty Kids offered a great opportunity for fun, profit and meaningful work to independent consultants obtaining orders for the range. Kids Craft Products includes a wide range of general craft products, paints and glitters, modeling clays and Fun Packs that provide complete craft project solutions for all ages from preschool to adults.

They strive to achieve this mission by providing the opportunity to readily and economically purchase a wide range of quality craft material and Creative, fun ideas for using these materials. Crafty Kids products and ideas provide a stimulating alternative to electronic entertainment and can keep kids of all ages occupied for hours on end.
