Jerry and Cherie saw a need for high quality, handcrafted reproductions and Henn was born. The Henn business grew from a small workshop on the corner of Jerry’s 5 generation family homestead land to eventually encompass three manufacturing facilities 2 in Ohio, and 1 in Pennsylvania employing 300 craftspeople and several thousand decorating consultants internationally. In 2004, Henn received prestigious national recognition by the worldwide renowned accounting firm Ernst & Young, who named Jerry Henn, Entrepreneur of the Year.

In 1982 Henn began as a direct sales company marketing handcrafted housewares including dinnerware, bakeware, serving pieces, accessories and other home furnishings. The Classic Henn Pottery lines of Spongeware, Jewelware, and Decalware are handcrafted in New Waterford, Ohio and, along with their handcrafted baskets, wrought iron and candles, are considered basic essentials in homes across America. 2005 brought a world of opportunity, exceptional value and quality to Henn consultants and customers with a globally sourced product line. This line was inspired by the romance and rich color tones of Tuscany and Provence and is designed to compliment the beauty of any home. Henn by Design product line includes decorative Wrought Iron products and unique Dinnerware Collections. All Henn and Henn by Design products carry the same lifetime no fault warranty.
